This year’s headline act brings back a crowd-pleasin’ favorite – the kings of western swing, ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL. They’ll perform on Sunday afternoon, July 19, so prepare to clap your hands, stamp your feet, and swing your sweetie around the meadow – nobody sits still when ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL is onstage! We’ve added even more music to the Beartrap experience. Fresh from their first place finish at this year’s Telluride Bluegrass Festival, The Hillbenders have joined our lineup. Their rich harmonies, intricate arrangements, and skilled instrumental riffs guarantee an energetic, unpredictable, and radiant performance. Also added to this year’s schedule is a crowd favorite from Beartraps past – modern-day troubadour Jeff Finlon. And for those of you who haven’t heard the excitement about Wyoming’s Anne and Pete Sibley, in April of this year, the Jackson-based husband-and-wife duo captured the top spot in the Great American Duet Sing-Off on NPR’s Prairie Home Companion radio show, hosted by Garrison Keillor. Beartrap 2009 has tons of activities for the kids, lots of vendors and irresistible food as well – it’s gonna be a great time! We’ll see you there!

As you can tell - Beartrap has been working on their new and improved look. This website was a big project and hopes to give everyone a better feel for the event and be a useful tool for vendors and booth management.
